Forward Facing !! Whats that ??

It is a mini mile-stone in Ethans life. Ethan's Doctor has told us now is the time to turn his car seat around. He is old & big enough. Yesterday I went to the West Overland Fire Dept.(on my lunch break)and James turned the car seat around.He made sure it was anchored down.(I think I was prolonging this day) Now my little baby is offically a TODDLER !!! I think he really likes being face forward , now he can see everything!!!!

Ethan's 1st B-day Party !

Sunday May 4th 2008 Ethan had his 1st birthday Party! We all had a lot of fun! We took a lot of pictures and videos of the special day. His Aunt, Uncle and cousin (and 2nd cousin) had to leave early so Ethan open thier gift first. He loves his new baseball glove & ball. He also has a new cards outfit, swim pants, sand shovle, bucket, Bubble blower, and a cool outfit. Then it was time to smach into the monkey(curious george)cake that Daddy worked very hard on. At first he did not know what to do with everyone staring at him. So, Aunt Sara helped him along the way. Before you knew it he crumbled almost the entire monkey cake. I was a little surprised he did not try to eat it ..at first. After he had the first taste he had to have more. He was really messy but, we cleaned him up and he was ready for the big cake. We all sung "Happy Birthday to you" he looked at everyone and smiled. Then he opened more gifts. Then the big kids wanted to walk to the park up the street. All the kids played and Ethan too. He loves to swing. After that it he was a very tired and hungury boy. I got him home and he slept for 3 hours! He had a great time. Pumpkin Patch Time !!!

Sunday October 21st 2007 We took Ethan to the Pumpkin Patch. We had a great time although we did not stay very long. It was a nice day but, it was windy and the dirt was blowing around so we did not want him to get any in his eyes. We took pictures and walked around and went through a kids friendly hauted house. Ethan picked out his very first (mini) pumpkin.(as you can see in the picture above w/ his sissy Erin.)

REAL FOOD !!!!!

Well, Last Saturday (9/8/07)was so rainy and not a great day to go outside so Mommy & I stayed in the whole day (just about) Daddy had to work. So Mommy was feeding me my rice cereal in the afternoon and decided to add a little sweet potato to it. Well, at first I was like whats this and made a face like I did not like it but Mommy gave me more and I liked it!!!!! YUMMY !!!!!!!YUMMY !!!!!! I get so messy when I eat!

Trip to the Stl Zoo !!!

Ethan 1st visit to the Zoo !!Monday Sept 3rd, We decided to take Ethan to the ZOO !! He(We)had a great time !! He slept through Mom & Dad shopping at the gift shop. We bought him a little monkey & tiger but he must have "tossed" the monkey out of the stroller while we were not looking. We saw all kinds of animals, we stayed for about 2 hours then we headed home.
