Sunday May 4th 2008 Ethan had his 1st birthday Party! We all had a lot of fun! We took a lot of pictures and videos of the special day. His Aunt, Uncle and cousin (and 2nd cousin) had to leave early so Ethan open thier gift first. He loves his new baseball glove & ball. He also has a new cards outfit, swim pants, sand shovle, bucket, Bubble blower, and a cool outfit. Then it was time to smach into the monkey(curious george)cake that Daddy worked very hard on. At first he did not know what to do with everyone staring at him. So, Aunt Sara helped him along the way. Before you knew it he crumbled almost the entire monkey cake. I was a little surprised he did not try to eat it ..at first. After he had the first taste he had to have more. He was really messy but, we cleaned him up and he was ready for the big cake. We all sung "Happy Birthday to you" he looked at everyone and smiled. Then he opened more gifts. Then the big kids wanted to walk to the park up the street. All the kids played and Ethan too. He loves to swing. After that it he was a very tired and hungury boy. I got him home and he slept for 3 hours! He had a great time.
