New pictures of Braeton !

Here are a few NEW PICTURES of my nephew Braeton!! He is doing really well!
He is now 6lbs 11 oz !!!

Ethan says & does the darndest things ....

I guess its that time where kids Ethan's age are starting to say some of the darnedest things.(and doing) Well here are just a few of the cuties things Ethan is now saying. My Mom says she thinks Ethan will have her Dads since of humor (Gpa Phillips)

***Ethan's back was toward my Mom & She though she saw him put something not edible in his mouth. So My Mom said "Ethan whats in your mouth?" Ethan turned to My Mom and points to his mouth and said "Teeth"

***My Mom & Ethan went to the park today and My Mom said the first thing he did was go to the picnic table and slap his hand down and said "crackers"

***We were at Children's Hospital a few weeks ago visiting Braeton and we went to the Ronald McDonald house so Ethan can play. So Ethan sat at the table and colored with another boy. A Girl came over and said "I don't feel the love at this table" (mind you this little girl is about 3years old) then she said "Its not "black" enough in here". So Ethan hands her a black crayon !

Have a wonderful safe weekend !! The weather in THE STL is going to be awesome (finally)!! I will have new pictures of Braeton soon !

A Day For History: Obama Takes Oath

WASHINGTON — Barack Hussein Obama takes the oath of office as 44th president of the United States today facing twin challenges of war and recession and an electorate that believes he's up to the task.

The nation's first African-American president also will face something more immediately imposing: a crowd that could exceed the record 1.2 million from Lyndon Johnson's inauguration in 1965, dotting the National Mall and lining the Pennsylvania Avenue parade route to the White House.

Then there will be the ghosts of presidents and preachers past: Abraham Lincoln, whose Bible will be used for the first time since his presidency. Franklin Roosevelt, the last incoming president to face an economy in such disarray. John Kennedy, whose youth and relative inexperience Obama shares. And Martin Luther King Jr., whose 80th birthday was celebrated Monday; he was assassinated when Obama was 6.

Center stage will be Obama, the son of a Kenyan father and a mother from Kansas, who rose from the obscurity of the Illinois state Senate in 2004 to the most powerful job in the world.
